The Mirror That Controlled Jack the Ripper

EPISODE 2

The night was no longer silent.

It was listening.

Jack kept moving, but something wasn’t right anymore. Each step felt guided… as if his body no longer fully belonged to him.

And then—

He stopped.

In front of him… water.

The same place.

The same reflection.

But this time, something was wrong.

Jack slowly leaned closer, his eyes fixed on the surface.

His face was there.

But his eyes…

Empty.

Then—

They blinked.

Jack didn’t.

His breath caught in his throat.

“So… you finally see it.”

The voice came again.

But not from behind him.

Not from the darkness.

From the reflection.

Jack stepped back, but his legs refused to move any further.

“You can’t run, Jack…”

The reflection smiled.

He didn’t.

“Because you were never free to begin with.”

The air turned cold. The water trembled slightly, yet the reflection remained still… watching him.

“You do what I tell you.”

Jack’s hands began to shake.

“And you don’t even remember.”

Fragments crashed into his mind — blood, distant screams, shadowed streets.

Blurry.

Disconnected.

As if he had been there…

and not there at all.

“That… wasn’t me,” Jack whispered.

The reflection’s smile deepened.

“No.”

A pause.

“It was me.”

Jack’s eyes widened.

The figure in the water no longer felt like a simple reflection.

It was still his face—

but something else lived behind it.

Something older.

Something far more dangerous.

“You are only the vessel, Jack,” the voice said softly, yet firmly.
“And I… am the will.”

Jack tried to scream—

but no sound came out.

His lips moved…

yet the words didn’t belong to him.

“Tonight,” the reflection continued.

A brief silence.

“We begin again.”

Jack tried to resist—

to shake his head—

but instead…

he nodded.

Slowly.

In agreement.

The water grew still again.

The reflection returned to normal.

But something had changed.

This time…

Jack didn’t blink.

He waited.

For the next command
