Jack the Ripper, the man who doesn’t even know himself.
Why was he like this? Why did he do everything? Was he sent for a purpose?
Let me tell you, why was he like this, why did he do what he did? There was not a heart in his chest, but something else instead.
At that stage of his life, when a person can’t control himself, even if he wants to, it was a dark night, and the silence surrounded him. He walked on a road filled with hatred in his heart and blood in his eyes. Little did he know, this night would change his life. Lost in deep thoughts, he wished he could do something, but what he didn’t know was that he was stopping. Sitting by the edge of the water, he looked at his reflection and said, ‘Jack, why are you alive? How will you keep living like this? Endure everything or die.’ In the water, he saw another reflection, one just like his. He quickly turned around, but nothing was there. He ran, but then a voice echoed from behind, ‘Jack, are you running from yourself or from me?’ Jack stopped
Why does Jack stop? He doesn’t even know. His heart is pounding loudly, almost screaming at him to run. His mind tells him to stay, ‘You’ve killed before, you’ll kill again, what difference does it make?’ Jack listens to his mind and stops. He looks behind, but there’s nothing. Yet, he feels something— in the darkness of the night, someone else’s breath is with him, matching his every inhale
Will Jack recognize himself or run away from himself and the world?
